The Festival hosted a Gala Screening of the Egyptian film
Messages from the Sea. In his latest feature, Daoud Abdel Sayed
delivered an intricately woven tale of estranged and distraught
characters making their way in contemporary Alexandria. The
director, along with cast members Asser Yassin, Basma and Mohamed
Lotfy attended the screening.
