Video: Pacha Pictures at Cannes 2011

distribution company "Pasha Pictures" in Cannes.
Pacha Pictures is a new international sales agency dedicated to
Arab cinema whose launch has just been announced in Cannes. Created
by young and dynamic Arab entrepreneurs from the entertainment
industry, Pacha aims to address the urgent need to have
professionals represent and sell movies of prominent and promising
filmmakers from the Arab region.
Khaled Abol Naga, Mohammed Hefzy, Mohammed Abdel Wahab, Georges
Choucair, and Frederic Sichler (manager of Pacha Pictures) were all
in attendance at a press conference in Cannes to speak about the
Pacha Pictures has six films at Cannes, including two Egyptian
films, Microphone, directed by Ahmad Abdalla, and Hesham
Essawi's Cairo Exit. Pacha is also representing ADFF
alumnus Bahij Hojeij's Here Comes the Rain as well as
Georges Hachem's Stray Bullet, both from Lebanon. Two more
films from Egypt, Tahrir Square and Asmaa, both
currently in post-production, round out Pacha's lineup.
