Gail Segal grew up in an American South of the 1950's and 60's where despite all kinds of culture clashes, she was drawn, even then, to human dramas that erased difference. This informs her work as a poet, filmmaker and an Associate Arts Professor in the Graduate Division of Film at NYU. Her recent film work includes "Filigrane" (2014) Writer/ Director. Narrative short.
