After many years of visiting her husband in an Israeli prison, a Palestinian woman goes to see her son in the same prison – which, after the Oslo Accords, has become Palestinian.

The fact is, we Palestinians need to look in the mirror and face the truth about ourselves. This mirror of disillusionment is being constructed from works of art, literature and cinema. I see my film in this larger context, a film that contributes to the building of this mirror.
