In Tripoli, Lebanon, where family bonds still run deep, a forty-year-old man still living with his elderly mother has given up on the idea of becoming independent. But when suddenly his mother leaves him, he is left with nothing but the company of a city and what it offers.

 This film is a collection of our memories and impressions of a city and the people who live and work in it. Stylistically, we tend to follow a realist approach to our work, using a mix of narrative and documentary aesthetics.
